Remote employees of Miami Country Day School will be provided with equipment in line with the standards defined in the .
The Technology Infrastructure and Operations team will ship technology assets, upon request of the direct supervisor, the Director of Human Resources, or the Chief Information Officer, to remote employees. The cost of shipping and insurance for the equipment will be billed back to the home department's postage/shipping account and project ID of choice.
Similarly, upon separation of the employment relationship with a remote employee, the Technology Infrastructure and Operations department will be listed as the recipient at MCDS to receive all returned equipment. The former employee should submit their request for reimbursement of shipping and insurance of the school's technology assets directly with their former home department supervisor.
Should technology assets not be shipped within 5 business days from the separation of employment, the former employee will have an amount equal to the actual replacement cost of the unreturned technology deducted from their final paycheck. Additionally, the technology will be placed into lost mode, tracking services will be engaged, and an official police report will be filed.
